4.1-Tactical is intuitive and easy to operate in stressful situations.
The index finger in conjunction with the middle finger controls the descent.
Squeeze the handle to go, squeeze harder to go faster and slow down by letting the handle return. Hard stops are made by letting go.
By adjusting the friction mode to match the user's weight, the operator can maintain consistent handling throughout the entire weight range. This removes the need to manually control the rope on the brake side, ensuring a smooth and safe descent in any situation.
The brake can easily be moved up and down the rope for rapid positioning.
With a weight of only 650g (with 20m rope) the system gives the operator better handling characteristic than most rappel systems weighing 5x more.
All parts are CNC machined in Norway by our trusted supplier to ensure consistent production quality.
Every meter of rope goes through strict quality control before assembly.
This is done by simulating a rappel within the weight range of the device and visually inspecting the rope.
Webbing and rope are sewn by our CNC sewing machines.
All unit is produced, assembled and tested in Norway.
The company has developed its own patented technology that makes rappelling on a 4mm rope not only possible but better than most full size rope descent devices.
Rapid Rappel 4.1-Tactical is developed with the help of the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment.
