1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Rapid Rappel website and the purchase of products through our online store.
Rapid Rappel AS is registered in Norway and operates under Norwegian law.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Product Information

All products are designed and manufactured in Stjørdal, Norway, to meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Product descriptions, specifications, and technical data are provided for reference and may be updated or modified without prior notice.
All Rapid Rappel equipment is intended for trained and professional users only and must be used in accordance with the provided manuals and operational guidelines.

3. Ordering & Payment

Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Prices are listed in EUR.
VAT is only added to orders shipped within Norway.
Customers outside Norway are responsible for paying local VAT, import duties, and customs fees in accordance with their country’s regulations.
We accept major payment methods as displayed at checkout, and all transactions are securely processed through approved payment gateways.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped from Norway using UPS Express or equivalent carriers.
Delivery times may vary depending on destination and customs processing.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at the time of purchase.
Rapid Rappel is not responsible for delays, costs, or import restrictions caused by incorrect delivery information or local import regulations.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the professional and safety-related nature of our products, returns are accepted only for unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
Returns must be shipped at the buyer’s expense.
Refunds are processed after inspection and approval of the returned item.
Custom, operational, or safety-certified products are non-returnable.

6. Warranty

All Rapid Rappel products include a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
It does not cover normal wear, misuse, modification, or improper maintenance.
Warranty claims must include proof of purchase and photographic documentation of the issue.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Rapid Rappel equipment is designed for trained professionals in military, law enforcement, and rescue operations.
Improper use can result in serious injury or death.
Rapid Rappel assumes no liability for injuries, damage, or losses resulting from misuse, lack of training, or operation beyond the intended purpose.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure proper inspection, training, and maintenance before each use.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Personal data collected during checkout is used solely for order processing, shipping, and customer communication.
All information is securely handled in compliance with Norwegian and EU data protection regulations.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law.
